2026 Aviation Scholarship ProgramIntroduction:Since its establishment in 1941, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Air Squadron has been a steadfast supporter of the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, providing critical aviation assistance and fostering strong community relations. Our mission extends beyond the skies—we are dedicated to empowering the next generation of aviators who are committed to both aviation excellence and community service. | Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 35 who have a passion for aviation and a desire to serve their community. Whether applicants dream of a career in commercial aviation, law enforcement aviation, humanitarian air missions, or roles such as mechanics, engineers or air traffic controllers -- this scholarship provides essential financial support, mentorship, and guidance to help them achieve their goals. Through this program, scholarship recipients will receive hands-on support from experienced pilots and aviation professionals who serve as mentors, fostering both technical skills and leadership qualities.
